How did that end again? That was with the pirates in the belly of that beast, right?

It was at least somewhat confusing.

I've felt the entire second half of Wake has been messy and uninteresting. The first half was by far the best part for me.

Now, that's issue 7. Issue is where you discover the beast is actually a submarine. It ends with Leeward tied to pole but a page later hidden in the submarine which left utterly puzzled.

Well, maybe I'll have to reread issue 8, because than issue 7 is also the one with the flashback involving her dad?
