Overall, no. It has some major editorial mistakes (mentions JGS yet Rogue has Ms. Marvel powers). The storyline is also a bit confusing and I kind of gave up by issue 4. Now I just want to see how it ends. Made it this far.

Isn't it supposed to be out of continuity?

I didn't think so. Just not placed in any certain time frame. However, when you mention the JGS it does put it in a specific era. I'll have to thumb thru it again, but I've been fairly certain it's named drop things like Logan being a teacher and trying to change his persona from killer to professor.

Still don't mean it has to be in continuity. Marvel Knights books never have.

I think that's up to the series really. There was the MK Spider-Man that was in continuity alongside the others. I think it must be minis that usually aren't. Either way, it's not that great of a mini as is. Art isn't horrible but the story hasn't been the best. It's all small town using mutants for MGH production.

Yeah, I read the first issue and was rather disappointed by it.
Still, if you get the chance, you should definitely check out Brahm Revel's Guerilla. It's a great book.

The last issue wasn't bad, but it again raised the continuity question. It acknowledged that Xavier and Kurt were dead and depending on how you read a line, that there's some estrangement going on between Kitty and Peter. It was the best issue, but overall the whole mini fell flat.

What's the book about? I read his post series write up in the back of the book (to which he added that "some mistakes were made" in the series) and noticed he was more of a prose author than comic writer.

Guerilla is a comic book about chimps trained for war by a nazi scientist refugee and used by the US Army in the Vietnam war.
2 volumes are out at Oni Press, with a 3rd volume being WiP (should be launched via Kickstarter like the 2nd volume).
