I didn't realize the Parker book was coming in so soon! My LCS ordered 4 copies. 3 are already claimed, including my own and he said he wants to read one too. My cost just doubled this week it looks like.

Thanks! I missed it on the list, definitely grabbing one. Those are so good, though this one is going to be shorter, 96 pages I think.

It's also supposed to be his last one, isn't it? I believe either the rights to produce them will have ended this year or next year, coupled with Cooke only wanting to do so many if I'm not mistaken. But that's a shame, as these are so good.

I can't believe I did it, but I told my retailer I have to stay away from variants for awhile since I got a new car and need to monitor my spending a bit more. While I love variants, most of the ones I get aren't "investment" variants. So I sadly told him I can only get cover price variants and may even end up seeing if he was interested in buying some of gaming stuff at some point. I'm glad he understood. So in that one swift swoop, I paid $13 this week instead of $40. I know most of you already avoid variants so it's not really that big of a thing...
