It was announced this past week that the next Man of Steel movie will be a Superman/Batman movie scheduled for a release of 2015 with a tentative Flash movie scheduled for 2016
Also announced was a Darkness vs. Witchblade movie was announced by Marc Silvestri but no date was released
In non- movie news it was announced thar Nightcrawler would be returning in a new title by the creative team of Jason Aaron & Ed McGuinnes called Amazing X-Men. While I have no interest in another X-Men title, I wish nothing but the best for them.
In Green Lantern, The upcoming Lights Out story will see the destruction of one of the Lantern Corp. Knowing DC it won't be any major Corp. Probably something unimportant like the love lanterns or the Blue Lanterns.
New title announced called Superman/Wonderwoman looks good but I'll be passing
Gail Simone is writing the new Tomb Raider title from Dynamite
Also Gail Simone's Red Sonja was released last week, anyone check it out?
Other news I missed?

They are making Wolverine: Origin II, a sequel. This time by Kieron Gillen and Adam Kubert.
The next Avengers movie will be called Age of Ultron.
Ultimate Marvel Universe is getting close to disappearing in Cataclysm, a mini by Bendis and Bagley.
Harley Quinn is getting a new ongoing. Written by Palmiotti and Conner. The first issue will have art by 18 different artists, one of which will be cast by Harley to be the regulard penciler (as if they have such a thing as regular at DC).
Dark Horse will launch a new Terminator comics by Straczinsky and Pete Woods.
Dynamite announced loads of new books by Chaykin (The Shadow), Bunn (Heroes), Straczinsky (The Twilight Zone)...
Joe Hill has a new comics project now that Locke & Key is done. A new Parker by Darwyn Cooke is coming in December.
Marvel teased about the return of Miracleman.

Wolverine is going to lose his healing factor in an upcoming arc which causes all of his villains to come after him. I hope they don't ignore the pre-identified adamantium poisoning that he gets.
The next Avengers movie WON'T have Pym even though it is about Ultron.
IDW and BBC are parting ways so Doctor Who will be moving to another published yet it's not determined who (some say Titan or Boom, with Boom making more sense to me).
Big chunk of fans popped a vein in rage after finding out that Nightcrawler is located in hell and the first arc of Amazing X-Men is to rescue him from it (similar to what happened with Wolverine in an arc by Aaron). To me, that's a direct spit in the face to Nightcrawler fans to put him in hell, even if it's not The Hell.
Longshot is going to get a mini-series title Longshot Saves the Universe (World?) but not much is known about it.

This happened already in a Frank Tieri wolverine arc, in the main wolverine title.

The only new titles that caught my eye were Harley Quinn, Tomb Raider & The Twilight Zone.
I realize now that bitching about all the X-titles is rather stupid of me. The X-Universe is so huge that its an entire company unto itself and there's no realistic way to fit the hundreds of Mutants on 1,2 or 3 titles. So Marvel cranks out more X-titles with a little something for everyone. To that I say more power to you to both Marvel and the readers who want those titles.
I'm so proud of myself for being so understanding

That was different, everyone was locked in a sphere so the villains didn't exactly have to hunt him down. They just had to walk around the edge.

Age of Ultron? Really?

It probably won't have anything to do with the story in the comics.

I believe they've said it won't, it's just taking the title and using it.

That's completely stupid.
