FAIREST #13 (MR) $2.99
TRANSFORMERS MORE THAN MEETS EYE #14 [DIG/P+] $3.99
MARA #3 (MR) [DIG] $2.99
SEX #1 (MR) [DIG] $2.99
ALL NEW X-MEN #8 NOW2 $3.99
AVENGERS #7 NOW $3.99
DAREDEVIL END OF DAYS #6 $3.99
IRON MAN #7 NOW2 $3.99

A relatively small week. Good.

I should start dropping some books now. I'm buying all the Avengers books to try them out, since they are new, all part of this 'Marvel NOW!' direction. Oh, X books too! I dropped Cable (although I will pick up #4 just to finish the first story).

Avengers Decisions -
SECRET AVENGERS
I don't think I will continue with Secret Avengers. It's just started and although the hook to the book is intriguing, I don't think I can be bothered. This book has unfortunately come around at just the point where I feel I've hit weekly comic saturation.
AVENGERS
Hickman's Avengers. The one with the cool logo that informs you which Avengers will feature in the issue. It's interesting and I love Opena art, but I'm not that intrigued with the direction. In fact, we've finished the first story and to be honest I'm not sure what the purpose of this book is other than being an opportunity to write stories with a rotating cast under a big title book and hence promoting lesser characters. What else?
AVENGERS NOW.
Is this another Hickman book? This is the Illuminati book either way. Something interesting has happened in this book in terms of the politics and play decisions of the group of characters and also the way in which the threat has been built by removing the group's ultimate trump card and that is interesting! I'll stay with this book for atleast the end of the first story.
UNCANNY AVENGERS
I've talked about this in the Marvel board. I like it. I like the crazy, horrific machinations of the Red Skull in this book. If it wasn't for the way Cassaday draws the costumes, I'd probably really like this.

What other Avengers books are there? I know I'm buying them all, but can't remember them.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER WILLOW WONDERLAND #5
COLDER #5
GREEN LANTERN #18
MARA #3
AGE OF ULTRON #1
ALL NEW X-MEN #8
AVENGERS #7
SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #5

Big week. Willow and Colder both wrap, and if you haven't read Colder, I suggest you look into it. Very interesting and creep villain. Mara has been really interesting and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. All-New has been one of my favorite X-Books lately so I'm glad it's coming out. I'm actually liking Avengers more than New Avengers, but the premise of New Avengers is really intriguing. I like the Illuminati but the first few issues haven't had much to grab me on.

Also, did anyone else notice how the colors and descriptions of the Infinity Gems never matched up from one panel to another. For example, Captain America has the Power Gem, which was red, but when it shows them all later you see the yellow or blue gem marked as the Power Gem. Was that intentional or just bad editing?

Why would World's Finest already be sold out?

Before Watchmen: Rorschach #4
Detective Comics # 18
All New X-Men #8

A small week for me as well. What is everyone thinking of All New X-Men now that the luster of bringing back the original X-Men is over?

I still am enjoying the book. The story and dialogue have been more entertaining than the first two Uncanny issues have been. I'm looking forward to seeing what Bendis has planned for them now that the novelty has started to wear off.

Tie in to the death in Batman: Incorporated and it's already a very underordered book. DC told retailers to increase orders but for some books (like World's Finest) it wasn't fast enough for DC to make more.

Plus, Bleeding Cool went and increased speculator interest so those zombies are going to snatch them up to try and sell on eBay.

It's not Avengers Now, it's New Avengers ;)
From your list, you're missing Avengers Arena and, more suprisingly coming from a Brit, Young Avengers.
I must say I was rather underwhelmed by Young Avengers. Listening to House to Astonish, you might think that Gillen/McKelvie are the second coming of Lee and Kirby. I have yet to read anything from them that makes me go "Woohoo!".
So anyway, I got all the Avengers #1 except Uncanny and the ones I'm sticking with are the Hickman's books.

I dropped Fables a few issues ago. It's ok but it doesn't have the excitement it used to.

Is Fairest still continuing after Fable's axe?

No, no, as I said, I'm quitting Fairest first, with issue 13.

I think the Brit thinks Gables is getting axed by DC.

I don't think so. They've just announced a Fables Encyclopedia, more OGN and they even have a "Fablescon" that's happening soon somewhere in the US.
