The Previews site claims that there were hardware issues yesterday and they lost a lot of art and text on the website, so they're trying to get things fixed. Until then, they do have the New Releases in html format on the actual previews site:

Nothing - which is the first time in a few weeks where I haven't had anything to get from the comic shop.

Jedi, I think that Fables #100 on your list is actually a Fables #100 poster; not the comic itself

Eh, I'm getting the poster as well. Midtown lists it as the actual issue but Diamond lists it as the poster. I looked up Solicitations on Newsarama and it lists January as being for issue 101 but December doesn't list 100. The solicits for 100 are for November 24th, and I know they didn't come out then. The poster is $9 but the issues is $10, the thing Midtown displays is $10 whereas Diamond is $9. So they're both different, it seems.

Holy shit, the series 27 is in Golden Age format! I was uber confused when I grabbed it from my file, lol. Luckily my retailer had a bag for me cause I know for certain I don't have bags that big. It was a pretty interesting start, I'll definitely continue. I did grab the Fables poster as well as the issue, haven't read the issue and tempted to download it instead so I don't sully it (yeah, yeah, I'm OCD, I know). My copy of Let Me In is also some variant with red foil, kinda nifty.

Holy shitballs, just looked on eBay for the hell of it and 27 #1 is already selling for $25! It was just released today and someone already sold it for a lot of money. 2 lucky bastards nabbed it for $3.50 and the rest are selling it for $15+. Highest sold so far is $36, aka 9 times the cover price. What in the fuck is going on here?!?

WTF is Golden Age format?

Also, good to know I subscribed for that one. But why would it go for prices like that?

Image hype from hot books

Everyone wants the next Chew, or Morning Glories.

As for Golden Age format, I'm assuming he means it's the much wider book. If you ever look at Golden Age Bags and Boards next to Silver Age/Current Ages Bags and Boards, you can very clearly see a size difference between the types. I'm assuming he meant this since he mentioned the bags specifically. Otherwise I'm not too sure.

Yep, I'm referring to the size. It's huge, basically magazine format. No clue why they chose to do it that way but I know it means being printed overseas. And the issue sold out at Image around a month ago which led to news hype which led to "hey, maybe I should get that book" just like what happened with Morning Glories. Just seems this issue is hotter than Morning Glories because it delves into music.

And the hype is because it's an awesome premise. The 27 refers to Club 27, where a lot of famous musicians died at age 27 (Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain). So the main character is 27 and his hand is crippled and he's trying to find a cure and breaches the netherworld by a funky "doctor". Very fun book, can't wait for issue 2.

Well, none of that is spoilers. The book doesn't get into Club 27 at all, that's just the backstory. We find out like 3-4 pages in that the guys hand is messed up and he's trying to fix it and the solicits talk about him getting into mystical stuff. So no spoilers from me ^_^

On top of the hype described by Wolf, 27 #1 was severely underprinted and was allocated. Which made it an even more sought after item.
