Marvel announced recently that they'd be doing a storyline called "Death of Spider-man" and since then have not yet released any other details.

Recently DC began promoting an unnamed Superman event by simply releasing the image of the bloody "S" shield from the death of Superman comics back in 1992 (when Tragic was still in diapers ;))

Not sure what all this means but its piqued my curiosity.

Hey, I'll have you know I was prepping to ride my Big Wheel in 1992!!!

The Spider-Man thing I'm wondering if it'll be more of a 'will Parker quit being Spider-Man for good??' kind of thing, thus 'killing' Spider-Man. The Superman one makes me wonder if Doomsday won't just return or if it'll be another release of the Death of Superman in some way.

Well, I'm not interested in any of it since we all know neither of them will die.

Every time a character dies in comics, Dan Didio gets a woody.

Only if they're either a Teen Titan or a Minority character.

Ha!

The Death of Spider-man & Superman events seem interesting but I still won't be buying them. Worse comes to worse, I'll pick them up in trade 2 years down the line.
