DareDevil Ending at issue #512

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

A blog on Newsarama claims that DD is ending its run with at the conclusion of the Shadowlands story with issue #512.

Currently unfolding “street-levelâ€￾ event Shadowland ends in November, and so does long-running ongoing series Daredevil, with issue #512. Says the solicitation

Years of acting as the Guardian Devil of Hell’s Kitchen have taken their toll on The Man Without Fear. Hell’s Kitchen lies in ruins, and it is up to the people of New York to start anew and begin rebuilding. In this last chapter of his story, will Matt Murdock at last find final redemption for the events of SHADOWLAND?

Now I need to pick up the last DD storyline and see how it ends. Also, since DD is ending around issue #512, and depending on when I dropped it (probably after ish #500, I might just pick up all remaining issues from when I dropped it until issue #512.

I dropped it at 500 as well, and only reason I don't care enough to continue to 512 with physical issues is that you have to get Shadowland as well to make sense of it all and I'm not doing that, so I'll just download them and maybe score 501-512 on eBay or something. The arc is ok but I really don't like where they're taking Matt.

Bah, it'll be relaunched straight after that final issue.
Also, I don't like Shadowland and I think I might not get back on DD when it comes back. Your loss Marvel, you and your stupid publishing policies.

The big thing is we're getting a new Daredevil. There have been a lot of teases as to the next "Man Without Fear" and none of them but Gambit would make me buy the comic again.
