I really wish they would invite Paul Pope. He is based in NYC for Christ's sake!

I think its best for everyone that Paul Pope wasn't invited. His art is simply atrocious. It would have single handidly brought down the quality of the art at the Con ;D

Oh God, I will kill you badly.
One of my main goal for the next comiccon is to visit the booth of the usual editors of Pope's books.

So eh... how not done is getting trades signed? There's some stuff I never got around getting the first time it got out (like Casanova).

My list is getting huge and requires me to bring 4 books. Fuck.

60 signatures, 4 books, 1 sketch, 1 photo.

No thanks Cam. I've got a copy myself.

Arn, Paul Pope rocks!

Mitch, I think we've all had trades signed. I think I'll bring Dr 13.

Nice!

Do guests sign as well if they're not listed in the artist's gallery? If so, my list at the moment looks like this:

Gabriel Ba - Casanova, Daytripper 1
Bendis - Scarlet 1
Brian Bolland - The killing joke
JMS - Rising Stars 1, Midnight Nation 1
Chris Claremont - X-Men 1
Tony Daniel - Gambit & the X-Ternals 1
Steve Epting - Factor-X 1
Matt Fraction - Invincible Iron Man 25, Casanova (Iron Man TPB #1)
Salvador Larocca - Invincible Iron Man 25, X-Treme X-Men 1 (Iron Man TPB #1)
Jim Lee - X-Men 1 (riiiiight...)
Fabio Moon - Casanova, Daytripper 1
Ben Templesmith - Fell 1

Yes, of course they do.

Many of them will do signing in Marvel/DC booths. Anyone listed will sign something somewhere.

I think we might need to stand in line for JMS, unfortuantly. If he doesn't cancel like that last, and FanExpo this year.

Comic writers and artists generally seem to be more than happy to sign anything, anywhere with a photo taken to boot.

TV and film personalities on the otherhand... if there's money to be made...

I think I would pay for a photo with Bruce Campbell as long it's a reasonable price and he's not a dick about it...And he doesn't insist we get only what's on the table, which is usually one of those shitty film stills

He is supposed to be one of the nicest guys going, generally said to be the nicest guy in show business. I doubt he'd be a dick.

Mitch, I got books signed by Bendis and Jim Lee while bumping into them on the con floor. They never complained about being stopped randomly.

Well, at the London Expo, my buddy Jock did say he'd be there. ;)

These guys turn up for their own fun, which is interesting. Neither of them seem to turn up because they're supposed to be on a panel.

*Sigh* I really did not realize that comic con was this damn close! I have having some serious money issues right now. I WILL be there of course but I will not be able to get much/anything

I can stay at my sisters again and take the train in, or if someone does not mind my crashin at thier hotel for a night I could toss some money thier way.

(I still have not gotten my Tix in the mail has anyone else?)
