Demo 1-6.

I take it I don't have to read the 2006 volume 1 to understand it?

Each issue is self-contained and completely unrelated to any of the others. It's a series of one-shots. You don't have to read any other to understand one.

What do you mean, what else is in the Absolute?

I suppose I mean if there were additional write ups, sketches, etc. Otherwise it's just an oversized book with all six issues together instead of broken over 2 trades right?

Oh, yeah sorry.
Well there's extra content yeah. Annotations about the various references, sketchbook section with loads of stuff including pages that did not make the cut, a section about the making off of the AF and one about the marketing surrounding the book at the time of its release. Pretty nice.

Nah. But it makes me think that Andy is probably only twice as high as this book. :D

And just as wide.

Is it any good?
Can you even read it without a pedestal?

I haven't taken it out of the plastic wrap yet. :D
It is fucking heavy. This is the kind of book that you have to lay flat on your bed or a table to read it.

That's the only real drawback to it so far it seems. It's definitely not an easy transport or use book from the looks of it.
