Just read spoilers on the first death in Avengers Arena. I'm torn, I'm pissed off over the death but it makes me even more intrigued by the series. I may pick it up for the shock value.

It was pretty good. Standard formulaic set up to get you emotionally involved, but it was done well.

I'm definitely picking up the next issue. Recommended read!

I wasn't all that happy with it. I did pick up the variants (baby and blank) but still undecided on whether I want to continue. My emotions obviously get the best of me with reactions and after giving it time to settle in I thought the issue was ok. Just not happy that all the work put into the character was washed down the drain. Yet after reading it, I am thinking that it's going to be a VR/computer simulation which would mean that the deaths aren't real.
