Always the hardcovers with you.

I have an image of you 'maleeving' a trade-paperback into the face of someone who bought you it instead of the HC version. :D

Not sure what I put on my list (that's on the currently not working laptop), but I know for sure that this was on it:

Who is Jake Ellis? TPB
Queen and Country definitive edition 2-4
Luther HC
Batman: Noël HC

Apart from that, I have no clue.

Depends. Some of them are not as expensive as you might expect. Could get as much as 4.
Of course, if she goes for the AOA Omnibus, it's just one but what a one that will be!!

Does the AoA omnibus have every AoA comic in it?

And is it in reading order?

I read that it's missing 3 of the tie-ins, the ones that relate only to the other Marvel characters in the AOA-verse. And also possibly the whole Road to AoA, but I'm not certain on that.

I did add one book to my list for my dad:

Legion of Super-Heroes: The Great Darkness Saga

I've wanted that re-issued hardcover since it came out but waited, and I hope he'll pick it up. If not, no big deal.

In a somewhat comic-related addition, I usually add all of the comic movies I don't have to any Christmas list. This year, I added all of the ones I do not own:

Iron Man
Iron Man 2
Incredible Hulk
Captain America
Thor
X-Men First Class
The Dark Knight
All-Star Superman
Batman: Year One
Fantastic Four 2

Most are just to have, though I've seen them a number of times. If I don't have to buy them, I'm ok with that. That's how I get most of the DCU Animated films. Unless I really want them and get them when they're released.
