Glad to hear. I might take a look at it here soon. To be honest I wouldn't mind picking a Vertigo series that is finished, so that if I do like it, I know there's a suitable end to it to collect and get somewhat of a complete story. Not sure I want to jump into a new add on, but the decision to get say 7-12 trades for a complete series is something I'm considering.

Vertigo Resurrected is just a quasi-trade. They collect usually 4 whole issues of old books. The first issue was promising because it had the unpublished/banned issue of Hellblazer Shoot about something similar to Columbine (the issue was fully penciled but quashed right before it was colored, Paul Levitz said as long as he was running DC they wouldn't print it, now he's not running DC so they printed it lol).

Ohh you have it mixed up! The comic store I stopped buying at is here in Bloomington, and I actually stopped there 3 weeks ago.
The store in Kokomo is the one I held a key to for a day, and for the last 3 weeks he's been holding my books as I prepare to move back home. When I said the last of the three weeks here I meant 3 weeks without actually getting my books, as they've been held but I don't have them. My bad!

What in the fuck?!? UPS guys are dicks and broke a box of thermometers on the comics, thus granting all new comics and accessories mercury poisoning. Luckily my retailer called me before I was too close but it's fucking crazy as hell. He said he hopes he can get new stuff overnighted but it may not be until Friday to get them. You'd think some of the stuff would be fine, such as the Heroclix which are completely covered in plastic so the mercury could just wiped off.
Pretty sure you can't just wipe off a controlled substance, it;'d need to be disposed of properly.jedispyder wrote:What in the fuck?!? Exactly. Anything that comes in contact with it becomes instantly contaminated and they can't risk it. It won't just wipe off wrappings but leave little bits on there, and all it takes is one touch for someone to get it on them.
Sorry about your luck with that though. Hopefully that comes at no cost to your store as well, as that's UPS' fault on that one.
