BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #29
BATMAN AND ROBIN #5
ASTONISHING X-MEN #31

Very small week, though Buffy should be great, and I have high hopes for the new run on Astonishing.

I'm going to try and hold firm to not buying Angel this week after my final decision last month as well.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer #29
Batman & Robin #5
Greek Street #4
DareDevil #501

Very good week. It also looks like Buffy will be wrapping up around this time, or possibly even a bit earlier, next year; just in time for the Con. I wonder if Whedon will be doing a panel on the first season of Buffy as well as whats to come.

We've got 40 issues on this series with at least one One Shot to go as well, so yea probably around this time next year. He's already stated he has Season 9 idealy plotted, which means I'm assuming he and maybe the head editors know the idea, but I'm hoping no news comes until after this season is finished. I'm eager for it though!

Since some people missed this, not saying you did, but...

This is an honest to god book, that can just be ordered from amazon for a good price if you prefer hardcovers to paperbacks.

I never thought I'd live to see the day but it finally arrived: A Buffyverse product so shitty, not even Tragic will to buy it.

The End Times are upon us

It sounds like theres going to be a several month gap between the end of season 8 and the start of season 9. Has Whedon announced a release date for the first issue of S-9? Either way it's fine for me. I'm with you about keeping quiet about news for Season 9 until this season wraps up as there are likely to be spoilers about the end of season 8.

I'll pick up the Fables novel but I'll be getting in paperback. My non-HC policy extends towards novels as well.

I put the issue back and had Angel removed from my pull list. Oddly comforting and scary at once. I just couldn't hold it anymore with as bad as it was.

As for S9, he's mentioned a gap time possibly, but yea since 8 will wrap a few years from when it launched I don't know if he wants to start 9 around the same time. It's still early to tell what all they'll end up doing.

I tend to get quite a few of my trades from old Amazon. Comic retailer tends to whack an extra margin on them. Especially on hardcovers. The only time I get trades from my comic shop is if I really don't want to wait.

Is this book likely to come out in softcover? For some reason I think that the 1001 Nights of Snowful (was that the title?) didn't come out in softcover.

So on a whim, I picked up Haunt #1 by Kirkman & McFarlane, the last one my LCS had left. I missed out on Invincible, Walking Dead & Wolf-man (all which I loved) so I ddn't want to miss out on Kirkman's latest title.

CountD would be so proud of me (It better be f'ing good).

If Greek Street doesn't get better soon, I'm going to drop it. Not that it's bad right now, I only have the vaguest sense of what's happening now and I suspect so does Milligan.

Maybe the same blow to the head that scarred Milligan affected him in other ways...It would certainley explain his attraction to Stocky :D

I only want my pull list to be contain books I really enjoy, not books that are "Ho-Hum wtf is going on?"

1001 Nights of Snowfall was released in softcover; that's when I brought it.
