Ok, I've made it past the story arc where they are attempting to rescue Rukia.

Is this next story arc very long? I am finding it extraordinarily tiring to watch and would like to skip it.

The only thing I would be concerned about the Yorkton position is whether or not the business will succeed. If it does, you're golden and your efforts would be a big reason for that success. If not, you're out of a job, but you can always get another.
