Re: The Gifted

Is this in the same universe as the X-Men movies? Is Marvel involved in it?

Re: The Umbrelly Academy

Not yet. I just finished Titans and started Stranger Things.
I'll save it for later but I think I'll read the comics again first. I can't remember a single thing about the comics.

Re: Anticipated for 2019

Goodnight Paradise. Dysart and Ponticelli were working together on Unknown Soldier and it was a great book. Dysart is a very solid writer. Ponticelli is an acquired taste.

That's pretty cool.
Any chance you might have read Sara by Saturday so I know if it's worth buying at the shop? :D

Re: Enis & Epting: Sara

20 bucks! My God, I hadn't seen that.
All this talk about those books makes me want to get them but I suppose the last boxset of my shop is long gone since Saturday. Good for my bank account, mind you.

Re: Enis & Epting: Sara

I don't think they actually released the singles in another fashion than the boxset. Which is strange when you think about it.

Re: Enis & Epting: Sara

My shop had the book this morning. Or rather, all he had left was the boxset of the 6 single issues because he sold out of the TPB very quickly. If he had had a copy of the TP left, I might have bought it but I don't feel like paying 25 euros for the boxset. He also had vouchers to get a discount on...

Re: American Comic Book Chronicles: the 1990s

Well, if one of you finds the 80s book at a fair price, let me know.

I must say, I'm not sure I'd even be interested in 70s. But 80s, definitely.

Re: Anticipated for 2019

Lazarus, obviously indeed. I think I'll get the Detective Comics 1000 for the milestone and the creatives look alright (I bought Action Comics 1000 and was let down but you never know). I like Phillip Bond but the last times I bought comics on the strength of his name, I ended up owning crap stuff I...

Re: American Comic Book Chronicles: the 1990s

I've looked on Amazon, Book Depo, Ebay. Can't find it anywhere at an affordable price. Two Morrows is selling digital copies for 15$ but that's a book I want to have for real.
