I just bought: all media style

Movies that suck. Music that rocks. Books and Games, it's all right here.

No Doubt- Push and Shove Delux Edition

And it is wonderful.

Also heading out to grab a copy of Avengers on DVD.

EDIT: I now own Avengers on DVD.

I also need to buy the new Mumford & Sons album, but my town only has a WalMart and I refuse to buy any music there on the off chance it's edited. I'll get it this weekend at Best Buy or Target.

DVDs:

Harry Potter Years 1 & 2
Harry Potter Years 3 & 4
Harry Potter Years 5 & 6
Harry Potter Year 7 Parts 1 & 2

All were 2 disc DVDs, and each was $10. I've seen all but the last two films, so getting the whole series for under $50 didn't bother me at all.

Alien Anthology [Blu-ray] for $20 at Amazon. I already have the Quadrilogy but this one has additional work done on the 2003 Alien 3 "Workprint" version which included having some of the original voice actors come back to re-record poorly captured dialogue in newly inserted extended scenes. Hell, I paid less for this than I did for the Quadrilogy, I think!

Used a gift card to Amazon I got for Christmas from my dad:
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher [girl commits suicide and sends a kid her 13 reasons why she did it]
Looking for Alaska by John Green [guy falls in love with a girl who is crazy and draws him into her life; reminds me of what happened to me 7 years ago]
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver [basically Groundhog's Day but it's with a girl who dies and relives the day of her death over and over to solve the mystery of what happened]

Got 3 cheesy horror movies and 1 interesting book:
Bath Salt Zombies, Night Of The Tentacles, and Zombie A-Hole are all movies by Dustin W. Mills, a low budget but well written horror filmmaker. I saw most of NotT but didn't get to fully pay attention or even see how it ended.

Dash & Lily's Book of Dares is book from the writers of Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist. It's about a girl who leaves a notebook full of dares in the middle of a bookstore and anyone who finds it either can follow or put it back. Finally a guy begins the dares and obviously it'll be disastrous.

One more item, I backed Dustin W Mill's upcoming release Easter Casket dvd. It's fully made but by pledging money to help out make higher quality release material, I get a dvd, a signed poster, and a t-shirt once it's released. Here is the red band trailer, looks ridiculously awesome:

They are good! I forgot to mention that for Christmas I got the Mummy & Invisible Man collections too. I've always liked the classic monster movies, and I can't wait to piece them together in a nice Universal marathon since they do start to intermix during the sequels.
