I've heard great things about Life on Mars (UK). They tried to do a version of Life on Mars here in the U.S. but it didn't do so well ratings wise and I think it got cancelled.

It also lacked all the flair and subtlety of the original. I recommend it to anyone.

The Walking Dead compendium arrived today! Hooray for reading pleasure. It's been so long I've forgotten about who all died. :D

DVD

In Bruges - Ed Brubaker is vouching for this one, that's good enough for me.
3.10 to Yuma - A western with Russel Crowe from the guy who did Identity, that's good enough for me
Eastern Promises - Russian mafia flick with Viggo Mortensen and Frenchie Vincent Cassel, that's good enough for me
Paris - The latest movie from one of my fave French director, Klapish
The Counterfeiter - German movie set during WWII, got the Academy Award for best foreign movie. Intrigued.

3:10 is awesome. In Bruges looks quite good and Eastern Promises is good. The German flick I've heard only good things about.

^

Eastern Promises and 3:10 to Yuma are both fantastic films. Viggo Mortenssen (sp) gave a fantastic performance in Eastern Promises. On the other hand, while I enjoyed 3:10, I didn't really care for the acting but enjoyed the general atmosphere and story of it.

Recently purchased:

Bought it awhile ago and it came in while my net was down:

Paramore- brand new eyes Deluxe Edition CD: Comes with 7 in LP, copy of the lyrics booklet and notes written by Hayley Williams, DVD making of the album and webisodes from their website, and a few additional acoustic tracks.

It's the only music I've listened to since I got my copy Monday.

I bought that a while ago my main man.

I should probably mention I get a WB discount, so if anyone wants a big ol' boxset like the Wire, check with me for price first, if you want.

A very good point. I'd have to check the list.

Oh, I've seen PC games and other shit on the list as well. I would mention music as well, but music's free online. :D

If it's a boxset and it's WB,
For your own benefit,
