Aw, you saw JCVD? I've wanted to see that for a long time but haven't seen it advertised anywhere =o/ Hoping it comes to theaters somewhere near me eventually...

It came to a local indy 1 screen theater in January for a week or two.

It was very entertaining.

Our 2 indy theaters in Cincy have had the same movies for a couple of weeks now, mostly cause they're "Oscar" movies or "big buzz" (I've Loved You A Long Time just came in).

Last one I saw was Benjamin Button. Good flick but nowhere near as good as Zodiac.

Is the International any good? I think I saw some promo and it seemed interesting.

No, it wasn`t. It had some cool scenes, and a somewhat cool plot outline. Clive Owen is awesome.

When it came down to the details and execution it failed. Some huge plot holes, it took far too long to get going (an hour and a half) then rushed to the finish. Maybe rent it, or download it.

You aren`t missing anything by not seeing it.

Although, be warned, if you were happy going into it, you sure won't be going out of it.

I'm still kinda figuring out what happened at the end. Did he or did he not?

I think the point was that he would, whether it be then, next week, or next year. He would till he wouldn't anymore.

Yeah, okay. I was wondering if it was at that time, but what you say makes a lot of sense.

The movie was completely what I wasn't expecting, but it was great.

I rarely watch new movies, I'm not a theatre person. That being said...

I just watched Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantantamo Bay and I do not feel smarter for having seen it. ^_^

I love movie Theatres. it is one of my favorite things to do. I am, not exactly sure why. I
end up seeing far more movies than reasonable.

The Wrestler - 4/5 McDerts - I liked it alot, and indeed MR put on an incredible acting job. But it is pretty damn depressing. It was little to hyped so I went in expecting my next Gangs of New York and came away feeling like I watched a depressing documentary.

There Will Be Blood - 4.3/5 McDerts - I'm a huge DDL fan and he comes away once again doing a fanfuckingtastic job. The end was sort of eeeehhhh for me, since it just kind of... ends. I won't watch it again for a long ass time.

The Dark Knight - I started watching it but 10 minutes in I got bored and stopped watching it. I'll watch it again some day, but not any time soon.

Slumdog Millionaire - 4.5/5 McDerts - The main draw for me was the lead actor and the two kids at the start of the film. Alot of their crazy antics reminded me of my time spent in Israel, running around getting into trouble and way too young an age. And the conditions I lived in were pretty third worldly by my own standards.
