The first casualty of the comic book tv shows has been announced. Constantine has not been renewed for a 2nd season.
It wasn't that surprising but still disappointing. It struggles both with ratings and quality. I wish they'd given it more time to find its feet though

It wasn't all that bad, it was pretty fun in some parts. They were limited by network standards.
It's considered a "long-shot" which means "essentially cancelled without a miracle."

It's terrible. Even limited by network standards does not justify the rape of the character of John Constantine like that.

It's confirmed. Constantine has been officially cancelled. Attempts to continue the series on a different network did not work out.

Very sad to see it ago. Here's hoping if they ever do get to using Constantine in the films they'll use the same actor.
