Basically, one of our client wants monthly stats. It was supposed to be sent on a monthly basis starting in October.
I got two people to do the stats but forgot to sent them once they were done!!
Now the client is apparently threatening of breaking his contract. And of course it's our BIGGEST client.
So everybody has been on my back since my return last Monday.
I thought "oh well, no big deal, the stats are ready, I only need to send them and apologize for the delay". But of course, what do I discover? The 2 co-workers did a pretty shitty job and I had to rework most of it.
I've been piling up extra hours since Tuesday, some of them won't even being paid.

Fuck!

No, no reference to the French.
I think it needs a reference to the French.

I like what you've done here, but I think it might sound better worded: "XIII: A Tale of Surrender."

Huh? Huh?

...

Just throwing it out there.

I know I shouldn't derive any pleasure from Arn's misery, and I don't. I just like reading about the shitty days at work people have because sometimes I miss having shitty days at work. Arn, I gotta thank you for your candor, my lil sugar pop of glucose. ^_^

So I finished those statistics today. And of course, the numbers don't add up. 160 missing entries.
Meaning the first count, not done by me, was wrong. Cause of course, MY numbers are the right ones.
Damn, they blame me for not knowing how to deputize projects but how I am supposed to do that when I'm the only one I can trust to do the job correctly?

Fuck's sake!!

Thankfully, tomorrow, we pick up playing weekly football again. It's been almost 6 weeks since we got kicked out of the park for wrecking the grass...

Managerial problems are the worst. If you don't delegate properly, you're screwed. I've been fortunate so far. I've only managed a few people at a time; never an entire team or department.

It's Seaguy as drawn for me on the inside cover of his artbook by Cameron Stewart.
Charged me about $20 for it and I say it was well worth it.

Also don't be surprised to a drop of posting from in the coming week, work is a bitch and Malorie and I barely have time together.
