Luckkkkkkky!

What kinda paintjob did you get to see?

Man, I wouldn't mind taking the backroads for a while if I could have something like that in my neighbourhood.

Morgan and I just had an epic wrestling match on the couch.
He got me in a super good hold...the kind I could only get out of if I hurt him badly.
...
He got hurt badly. :blush5:

We each got our licks in and laughed. We didn't get mad at each other, even when I accidently got him in the eye again. heh. :boxing_smiley:

I'm so glad he's fun. :o

I think it was a building sinking into the ground.

This kind of reminds me of when I went to the Saatchi gallery, walked into a room and didn't realise it was full of oil and reflecting the ceiling and walls. I thought I was standing in an elevated platform. Whooooops!

Describe the super good hold please? :)

Hmmm?

Lessee if I remember...
Um, I think it was a relatively simple grapple. He had grabbed both my arms at the wrists and had them pinned to my back.
I only had one method of escape. A backwards headbutt to his chest...and I accidently nicked his neck too, eheh. :blush5:

After the wrestling we played the adventure card game he designed, and then we ordered pizza and watched Jeeves and Wooster until three-in-the-morning. :laugh4:

I wonder what all the mature sophisticated adults were doing? ^_^

Less fun things I am certain.

What is this Anime North of which you speak. I am intrigued.

Anime North, the annual anime convention in Toronto!

http://www.animenorth.com/joomla15/

I've been going fer years. I love watching the AMV competitions and gawking at the amazing (and the awful) cosplay costumes.
Not to mention artist ally and the great deals in the alway crowded dealer's room. ^_^

Alas, less and less of my friends, amigos, and acquitences seem to attend every year...

John's always wanted to do an AMV but he's so bloody lazy... maybe there's some software that would make the job easier or more enjoyable? Stoney and I could do that for John for his birthday.

I don't think there is really a way to make it easier or faster...

'sides ALL the guys talk about making AMVs, NONE of them actually do it. ^_^

What's an AMV?

Never give up your back, Ty! It's all down hill if someone gets your back. It's how cops best get cuffs on people. Why do I know that?

Sarah is hands down the most vicious struggler I've ever encountered. John and I would circle her for a while before we'd rush her. Usually one was to get the legs and the other the arms. It was rough being on feet duty, she'd mercilessly bash you on the floor, against the table or wall, etc. And after her feet got free and she had her leverage back, the poor arm duty person would be knifed by her fingers repeatedly. And bear in mind John and I are generally stronger than my 110 pound sister. But my Gawd, she's mean when she's trapped or cornered.

(Yeah, levels of pain. What did Skullmaster say? I will show you a thousand subtle shades of pain. That's my sister.)

That's John favourite thing in comic books. Batman laying out Guy in one punch. You're really cool beans, Sis.

And sucks about work, I know you've been treated like crapola there. Maybe the fact that the weather is getting nicer this week will cheer you up a little, eh? ^_^

I never really saw a lot of these, but I really enjoyed a few I saw. The Bubble Gum Crisis AMV with Megadeath's "Crush'em". And I think, think, think it was a Love Hina AMV with Weird Al's "Horoscope for Today". Seeing Anime in amusing clip shows is more fun then watching the episodes. ^_^
