So how was the convention? The feedback I've read so far isn't really enticing.

Alright, I suppose. Just a few stands that were really about comics, most were anime, games, tv and for some reason Japanese candy.

I got an Inhumans TPB (the Jenkins/Lee one) and Marvel Boy in singles.

And I'm in doubt whether I made a mistake, of if it was Lee being unprofessional: my comission wasn't done yet. He offered refund or mail (I took the latter). I'll admit that I contacted him late about it all (I think it was on Monday), but he replied that it was fine. I never told him I'd only be visiting Sunday (why would I be there two days), but I also assumed that 'fine' meant 'done before the Con'. I suppose we'll see that piece when it gets here.

How far are you from Lille in France? I keep hearing the comics festival there is one of the best in Europe and really appreciated by attending creators.

About a 2.5 hours drive. It's on my radar, but I never realised it's that much appreciated. When is this one?

Is it every two years? The website I found was still for 2014.

I believe they had trouble financing the show on 2015 so they decided to skip one year to come back stronger in 2016.

No FB news yet (so down low for the moment), but we've decided we're gonna buy the house we now rent.

How is home ownership fun?

I'll throw up a few pics. And it's an appartment, I suppose. Dwelling. We're buying the dwelling we're living in. It's a two-story place on the ground floor. There's another two-story appartment on top of us. The entire complex is 154... dwellings.

It's actually not. It has been a shit.load of work for us. But I.like it. It's nice having your own piece of.property.

Congratulations on preparing to buy a home. The process of buying a home and property maintenance is not fun but, to own your own piece of earth is a great feeling...And to pay taxes on it until you die (or is that only in the US)

Congrats again

The worse is that it could. Still some genius out there but yeah 2016 is really pulling all the stops.
