I don't really care. There's only two artists I'm still wanting to see: Prince and MJ (in that order, too). I'll be far away enough not to see his face. :D It's in London, but because of the absurd pound rate, tickets cost €75. It's on a Saturday, so we'll simply make it a weekend London.

If we do that would be cool, but I'm not seeing MJ. He looks far too fragile-looking to perform one gig let alone 50.

I'm not taking you to MJ, dude. I'm only interested in a Strongbow with you. :D

I might invite myself and join you guys for the Strongbow. Never say no to a weekend in London.

That would probably make me King of BX Meeting. :chewie:

Well, no planeticket yet, but the hotel is booked. Very close to Tate Modern, so in Southwark.

Not too far from Greenwich, where the dome is. Fairly cheap cab ride if necessary.

If your hotel is near the Tate Modern, is it the Holiday Inn? It's that or the Mercure, which is pricey (there's another, but I can't remember it's name).

Cab ride? I was figuring the tube, really.

It's the Novotel, which has an absurd discount, about 2/3rds off the price. That way it suddenly gets affordable.

Hrm. Next week I've got two intake interviews with... uh, I dunno what the English term is, a posting office? Dudes who work as an intermediate between me and possible employers. I know the offers they might have will most likely not be in the field of architecture, but if interesting enough, I might go for it anyway. Jobs are hard to find at the moment.

So, in other news, I bought an organizer for this kinda stuff. And I had a few drinks too many last night. :D

I think it's cute that Mich knows "as an intermediate" but doesn't know "recruiter".

Yeah, but... I don't think they're actually recruiters. Or maybe they are, fuck if I know. :D

I did, today.
Had an intake, to see what kinda person I am and what my profile is. Needless to say, I wore the netpanties underneath my capri's.

Basically, they're recruiters, yeah. In the past, they used to hire people and then hire them to third parties for projects of a certain period of time. Due to the economics, they don't hire themselves anymore. Now they look who's in the market for a job and see if they can either find something for said person or whether a company hired them to find someone like said person.

Upon seeing your attire, did the interviewer get on his/her haunches and offer themselves to you?

Given the current economy, what is the turnaround time for them to find you work?
