I am so tempted! That place looks great, it's cheap, and it's only like 15 min from where I'm going to be working. I wanted to stay up here though... argh.
That place looks great. What's the big deal about staying, your roommate?

Looks quite jam packed. Do you get the cuddly toys with the flat? :)

I sure hope so!

The reason I want to stay here is this is the area where my friends live, and it's close to the bars we go to. Nothing like going out, then being able to come back home and sleep in your own bed. (Technically it's not mine and it's not a bed, but... you know.)

Certainly is the best thing ever to live near to where you go out. Especially if you are cursed with a weak bladdar and so cutting down journey times are useful!

I dread my train journey returns to Essex after even just a few drinks in London.

I was thinking it looks spacious, but then again I live in a closet. :sweatdrop:

Might be better to stay nearer to friends than to work. Friends are more fun.

I can't remember how many times I've been walking home after several drinks and peed in an alley or behind a car or something.

The real problem with staying out late in Korea is not the transit time, but the fact that at the time you want to go home the trains are not running and will not be running for several hours. Just when you need them most! :banghead:

Omigod my job rules. I had two classes today. The first was okay, I walked into the second and though OH. NO. I got there ten minutes early and there were already 50 people in the room. 50 teenage girls to be more precise. But they were great and cute. A whole class of adorable keeners.

That's the WORK part of my job. Not even getting in to how much it totally rules to share an office with one other person (who won't even be there when I am most of the time) and it has a heater that I can turn on myself! There isn't much work anyway, for example I don't even have to go in at all tomorrow or any other Tuesday for the whole term.

:chewie::chewie::chewie:

It isn't all good of course, but the good so much outweighs the bad it barely penetrates into my consciousness. One of the other new people said that it isn't so much about good and bad as better and this job is waaaaaaay better than our previous jobs.

I's happy. :)

That's great to hear. What's the level of the students you had today?

Low and lower. The huge class with the girls are all freshmen in the elementary education program (or something like that) and the other class is all music majors.

Is that what it was like in France? It's not like that here. Except in my class that is all English Lit. majors.

The girls are actually in Childhood Education, so they will be teaching even younger students when they graduate from university. Haven't you heard of majoring in Education, Mich? It's all the rage over here.

Oh man Thursdays are tough. I have to teach 5 hours! I know most of the jobs here in Korea expect you to teach 5 hours every day though so I try not to bitch too much. Still.

I had a weird dream last night and woke up completely lacking my will to live. The dream wasn't even anything concrete, just strange images (I ripped a silver hook off the wall with a mechanical arm and shredded a plush dog... among other equally nonsensical things) but I woke up so depressed. The feeling slowly cleared up over the course of the day and I managed to pull off all my classes today despite minor complications like the students having no books yet. Now I feel pretty much normal but damn, I felt so bad.

I think I was upset about the destruction.

I've been so tired but I keep waking up at weird times. Probably because I'm trying to change my sleep schedule.
