If it's broke, bitch about it here.

Smilies

Post by Stocky Boy »

Some more smilies would be nice, if possible.

I quite liked the undecided one, i.e. :-/

Also, anyone find it annoying how non universal this one is: :p

In the old board, it looked more like a 'disgusted' smile. But in this board I would interpret its meaning as a giggle, or the other term it goes by in other boards, 'razz'.

I more or less agree. The embarrased smiley doesn't look embarrased either.

I rather like the set on this place:

Wider variety would be nice.

I'm pretty much naked and useless without a kissy face or angel smilie. ^_^

Adam's plowing through a crucial edit that's due soon, so he's not going to be able to do much for us today hell, he won't even be able to do much for me today). He'll distribute copies to his beta readers tonight or tomorrow and it'll take some time to get feedback on it. So I'll bug him to add some more smilies tomorrow night, deal? ^_^

THANK YOU! :D

I would do one of those 'kissy' smilies, but obviously we don't have them here. ;)

I like the ones in that site too Mitch! It had one smiley tongue for playful tongue poking and one for showing disgust.

While he is at it, any chance he could get me my old postcount back? ;)

I agree that more smilies would be nice. pesfan.com is using the same forum template and has more so it should be doable.

We're lacking a whooaaaafun! smiley. We have a smiley and a grin, nothing in between. :(

So we need...

:-/
Something between :-) and :-D
Angelic
Kissy
A better razz
A better embarrassment
A not amused look
Something that laughs?
Something evil?

I think that's a perfect set. It's also a set. It is lacking a grinning smiley, I admit such.

I'm not trying to bust your balls, my lil bear of hugs and tugs, I'm just taking a look at the smilies. Some of them face more towards the right instead of on centre, which I'm personally not a fan of. I'm sure we can find smilies that match and tell a complete story.

Most smilies do face forward. Look: Image this set.

Mic, I love you. I'll always love you. Don't worry so much. There are smilies to be had. *pries Mic's hands off the keyboard and orders him to relax*
