Fatale 1-5

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

This was a good first story but it didn't nearly match the hype that surrounded it. Based on the interviews and promos, you'd think that this was going to be a fantastically original and groundbreaking series. Brubaker & Phillips are a great team but their first jaunt through Fatale was very average. However, I'm more than willing to stick with Fatale and see where this leads

So how is everyone liking Fatale after the first storyline?

It's "okay" but not great. Its not grabbing me as much I thought it would.I'm seriously considering swapping this out for Star Wars because 1) Star Wars 2) Brian Wood & 3) Star Wars

I'll give it to the end of the current storyline to see how it goes and we'll see what fate awaits it then...

I'm thoroughly enjoying it. This is a comics that's very noir and I'm a sucker for those stories.

One of the best reads every month. Especially the single issue stories of the past few months were amazing.
