Dark Knight Returns III: Master Race

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

DC announced the third part of Frank Miller's Dark Knight Trilogy would be released in the Fall of 2015 called The Dark Knighht Returns: III The Master Race. It supposedly closes the door on the DKR series.

It will be written by Frank Miller and Brian Azzerallo. No artist has been named and it will be released in Fall 2015. It is set to run for 8 issues with 2 issues coming out a month.

I don't do this often but I'm gonna hate-read it.

Anyone else picking it up ?

I'm skipping it. I think Scott Snyder is also supposed to help co-write? Or at least he was when they announced the idea of it a few months ago, or was that a different series?

Frank Miller writing something called "the Master Race" kind of scares me but honestly I have zero interest. I've never read part two as I heard it was awful. And yeah I think at one point Snyder was attached to it as well.

Two things put me off :

I still remember DK2.
The title "The Master Race". Scary when you know Miller's views.

One thing interests me :

Azz writing

So I guess it'll depend on who draws the books.

Who would you like to draw it? I'm thinking Miller himself is going to pencil at least some of it, as he's done that in the past for his DKR books.

I don't know. Risso works very well with Azz, so does Bermejo.
