I *Loved* it.

Great story, superb art. It was one of the few summer events that I really enjoyed and it was more or less self contained which made it far easier to follow than say Infinite Crisis which required you to read DoV, OMAC, Secret Six Rann/Thanagar war and wasn't nearly as convoluted or confusing as Final Crisis.

One of my favorite things about this BL was the fact that in the midst of a "cosmic war" Johns managed to drill down and make the story character driven and focus on individuals instead of just having the heroes & villains blast each other with pretty energy beams. It's one of Johns strengths as a writer; he did it in both GL & Flash Rebirth.
