From 6pm Friday to 6pm Saturday I will have a key to a comic store. One dream come true.

I enjoyed Cacophony a lot. Its written by Kevin Smith with art by Walt Flanagan and the art really is bad. Smith admits that Walt only got the job as artist because of his friendship. However, the writing, dialog & pacing is smart & funny so I think most people, you included, would enjoy it.

Btw, Batman: Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader was indeed terrible. I haven't been able to get past the halfway point of the first issue. Its really bad. I suspect major reason this book is such a stinker is because rather than writing a good story, Gaiman is writing a "love letter" to Batman which includes nods & winks to the reader only very long term collectors of the title would get.

If you're a fan of the character but aren't a fan of every single moment in his life, reading about something that looks like a poor mans elsewords gets boring pretty quick. My only consolation is that I didn't pay full price for the trade. I got it for 50% off at NYCC

I bought Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader for someone for Christmas last year and the bastard didn't want it. I kept it, read it, hate it and haven't picked it up since then. It is astonishingly poor. >.<

There's about a dozen Batman trades here, the most for any single DC character in this household. You picked up a Harley Quinn book not too long ago, right Wally? How is Preludes and Knock-Knock Jokes?

I haven't read Preludes and Knock Knock Jokes yet. To be honest I brought that trade primarily for the art; which was done by the Dodsons & I won't get to it anytime soon.

Right now I'm reading Queen and Country. I'm almost done with Vol 1

Justice League: Incarnations 1-7.

This mini was originally released in Fall 2001 but I missed out on the first several issues so I didn't bother picking it up. Cut to several years later, I saw the entire set on eBay for a good deal so I brought the entire set. The set, unfortunately, never arrived and I exacted my revenge on the seller via negative feedback.

A few weeks ago, I saw the set, on sale again, from another seller and I brought it hoping that it would not get lost this time. Yesterday they finally arrived. The miniseries itself is not that great but it was something I'd been wanting to read for close to ten years and now I have. Also it was written by John Ostrander, whose work I love so I is happy.

It was a pretty good appointment with the immigration consultant. I am pleased. Can't wait to read this small haul of comics.

Haven't found a copy of The Walking Dead volume 13 yet, dammit. >.<

Wonder Woman and Welcome to Tranquility for Gail Simone Awesomeness!!!!!!!!!

Five Books of Blood! Awesome! It's just before the Final Crisis Revelations story if I recall, and bridges Renee's story from 52 into FC: Revelations. Which you also NEED to get because it's good, and doesn't deal with the other aspects of the event at all. Hope you enjoy!

A 4-issue mini-series by Ben Templesmith about a sci-fi apocalyptic world where nanites have taken over the world and are destroying humanity. I bought it on that premise. Upon reading it, I'd not recommend it.

Well you said Templesmith, so it's not like I was going to check it anyway. ;)
