Hehe, I just bought the entire run of MK Punisher off milehigh for 75 cents each. Only time I have seen good prices there.

See! I told you, I like them.

Now a question, when you buy back issues, what grade to do you get? Near Mint? Fine?

Depends. For reading copies generally fine/good. I bought the Punisher stuff all at Fine/Good. It was over half the price of NM stuff.

I see no point in paying NM prices for something I am just going to read and then file away.

If it's more of a collectors issues, like say, digging up the Jeph Leob/Time Sale DC stuff I'd probably spring for the NM.

That's useful insight. And sensible too.

If you can find these runs for $1, or even $2 it can be cheaper than buying the trades. A little more work, but I enjoy hunting for comics.
I got the 45 issue run of Teen Titans for about $60 all in. And thats only because I had to spend 9 bucks for issue 1.

I hate to break it to you that 2/3 of this TT run is shit. It all went down after McKone left the book.

Who knows? Maybe I'll enjoy it. If not, it was only 20 bucks.
