Karen Berger - Vertigo's Mama

The New York Times did a piece on our friend Ms. Karen Berger and her role within DC in helping to find a place for non-mainstream comics, and the founding of Vertigo among other things.
It's a nice article and while she may not be the best public speaker, she will be greatly missed because its obvious that Vertigo has been taken out behind the barnyard to be shot in the head like a dog with rabies.
Also, it appears Karen Berger is a fellow Brooklyn College Alumna along with JM Demattis. To think that I walked the halls that Karen Berger walked all those years ago.
