Banned Books Week is a chance for all of us to celebrate our freedom to read and to bring attention to the harms of censorship. Each year, the American Library Association's (ALA) Office for Intellectual Freedom receives hundreds of reports on book challenges, which are formal written requests to r...

I try to keep a back-up list in the back of my head of what the folks around here recommend buying. Still intend to pick up The Boys. ^_^ Not sure how far along Chew is by now but I'll be picking up its trades whenever I see them. It's refreshing to have a light-hearted comic with such a fast pace a...

Last week Adam was in California on business. parked across the street from the office and a car alarm went off next to him. Guy that plays Taub on House came out to check his. It was a brief encounter but very cordial. ^_^

I was really excited when I saw a shaky bootlegged version after Comic Con this year. I watched the trailer again today and I'm still pumped about it. Some of the shots look exactly like the book and the casting for Rick Grimes looks spot on. Something was bugging me after I watched it. I wanted to ...

Is the former roommate you're somewhat obsessed with a cake eating, headbanging, maniac reader? ^_^

I'm not trying to be rude, heh, I'm just curious if you know what qualities you're looking for in a ladyfriend.

Winter Irritation in Small Towns Firstly, there's cabin fever. Having no where to go and nothing to do will drive a person mad. When getting your mail is a big social event (and a slog through snow) you're in trouble. Then comes eating too much out of boredom. And if you make an effort to go out and...

I can't believe you found a place smaller than Tilbury. Wow, I feel like the Big Time now. ^_^ You must at least have a Tim Horton's in the not-so-distant distance. It'd be open all night if you need out. I'm downright curious to see how you feel about the place when autumn and winter creep up on us...
