I was inspired by Kirkman's first forage into comics--Battle Pope. "Keep it simple." he said Superhero stories that are fun to read, but layered. I know I'm not going to whip out Watchmen anytime soon but it's a good creative outlet.

D, have you heard of Demian Maia?
I think you would like this UFC fighter. He has a very strong BJJ background and implements it very well in his fights. He's an ADCC winner and has won all of his five UFC fights with a submission. In act, I think always chokes. He sucks people into his half guard and makes their limbs disappear! :D
He's won submission of the night many times! For example, the recent UFC 95 in London...

...And you call yourself a lover of the Zombie arts. It's George Romero's latest zombie movie. It came out a while ago, it's filmed in a documentary style. DoD contains typical Romero elements: group of people, plague outbreak, fleeing to safety etc... Though Romero has done this before he introduces a few new/different elements that makes this film very enjoyable and fun. Its well done even with the annoying shakiness of the camera (which actually isn't all that much).

I would highly reccomend it.

Interesting story: When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up he answered 'artist'. At only 10 years old, the teacher insisted that you can't just be 'an artist', so guess what he chose...? Comic book artist. :)

Although really any kind of artist is fine: architect, graphic design, etc....

OK this week. Last week was kind of unpleasant.

We had to go to the MSKCC in NYC last week (5:00am Tues mornining!) because she was in pain. We spent the week there (till Sunday).

And now she has Shingles. Luckily, I've had chicken pox before.

And everytime I see the f***ing surgeon all he can see is "It's such an aggressive strain". I know!!! I know!!!
