Dude. Check your User CP at the top left hand corner of the page. It's your (hidden) karma score kinda thing. ^_^ If you hover the mouse cursor over the green block under post counts you can get a general idea of how far along other folks are.

I suppose I should give some back really. They kind of seem mostly like PMs. Or private responses. And from the looks of it, they are all specifically related to one relevent post. How can I respond directly then, if the rep I got was an open statement, pretty much awaiting reply? I take it that I should open the post which got repped, then rep the following reply from the person who repped me.

Reps are the new Exalt/Smite Karma thing. It's what we have here, up at the little scale alone each and every post. You can rep someone either positive or negative.

And the fun thing is, when you look at your reps on your User CP, it shows you exactly which post got you the rep! I like that!

I rep quite a bit, I'm a whore for the rep-giving. Most folks seem to be more particular about reps (which is probably more in the spirit of the rep function). Just watch out for Cam, he's like the Anti-Rep Faerie in Combat Boots. ^_^

You don't have to rep someone that reps you. You could check the posts you were repped for and rep the repper's first rep-worthy response afterward though.

Quite often, actually. if something makes me laugh, instead of simply responding with a "Hahah that's hillarious" or "oh man that's so funny good job" etc, I simply rep them, often with a quick comment.
